Job Type: Part-Time (20 - 30 hours per week) / Optional for Contractor position
Compensation: $21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience + Yearly Discretionary Bonus

The RoleWe are seeking a highly creative, trend-obsessed, and motivated Social Media Manager to be the digital voice and visual storyteller for Curiva Med Spa. As a ground-floor team member, this is a unique opportunity to shape the online identity of a brand-new, luxury med spa. The ideal candidate is a proactive content creator who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You will be on-site capturing the magic as it happens—from behind-the-scenes clinic life to patient transformations.
Note: All necessary camera and production equipment will be provided by Curiva Med Spa. Content will primarily be captured using an iPhone Pro Max or equivalent.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Production- In-House Creator: Actively film high-quality, short-form video content (TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) featuring treatments, staff, and behind-the-scenes clinic life.
- Video Editing: Own the editing process to ensure all content matches our aesthetic. Brand guidelines will be provided for visual asset guidance.
- Collaboration: Lead brainstorming sessions with clinic staff to leverage their expertise and engage them in our digital presence.
- Pre-Production: Prepare the team (nurses, aestheticians, front desk) for filming, ensuring they are comfortable and camera-ready.
- Graphic Design: Use Canva to design aesthetically pleasing, on-brand graphics for promotions and announcements.
- Copywriting: Write compelling and accurate captions for all social media posts.
- Asset Management: Meticulously organize and archive all raw footage, edited content, and graphics in shared cloud storage (Google Drive/Dropbox).
Social Media & Community Management- Platform Management: Grow our presence across TikTok and Instagram; repurpose content for Facebook and YouTube. Maintain a separate strategy/cadence for LinkedIn.
- Engagement: Actively reply to comments and direct messages to foster brand loyalty.
- Compliance: Uphold strict HIPAA standards for patient privacy (training provided).
Influencer & Creator Partnerships- Outreach: Identify and coordinate with Los Angeles-based creators and micro-influencers.
- Logistics: Manage scheduling, treatment exchanges, and ensuring agreed-upon deliverables are met.
- Influencer Program: Leverage and expand the current influencer program in place.
Event Coverage & Field Marketing- Event Participation: Attend trade shows, pop-ups, expos, and both onsite/offsite events.
- Content Capture: Capture real-time content and engage with attendees to represent the brand.
- Operational Support: Assist with the full lifecycle of event presence, including the physical set-up and break-down of booths and marketing materials.
Qualifications & Qualities- Experience: Proven experience managing professional/casual social media accounts and executing influencer partnerships. Experience in beauty, wellness, or medical aesthetics is a plus.
- Portfolio Required: Must provide a portfolio of past work and links to accounts you have managed.
- Creative & Tech-Savvy: Strong skills in mobile video editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush) and graphic design (Canva).
- Ownership: A proactive problem-solver who stays ahead of trends without constant direction.
- Team Player: An "all hands on deck" mentality, comfortable working closely with clinical staff.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a strong eye for brand voice.
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit, stand, and move dynamically around the clinic or at events for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (moving lighting, tripods, booth components, and event materials).
