You live and breathe TikTok. Not as a user. As someone who understands why content travels, what makes a format feel native, and how to build a creator-driven presence that actually connects with an audience. As a Freelance Social Media Manager at Pulse Advertising, you support content strategy and execution for a growing brand account, working closely with our team on content planning, ideation, and platform-native storytelling. This is a part-time engagement, with clear potential to grow as the account scales. If you are a sharp, TikTok-first creator with strong instincts and the ability to move independently, we want to hear from you.
Your tasks
- You develop and execute TikTok-first content strategies, defining platform-native formats, content pillars, and posting rhythms that build audience and drive engagement
- You concept and produce content ideas that feel creator-led, trend-aware, and on-brand, contributing to both planning and hands-on execution
- You monitor platform trends and algorithm shifts, proactively surfacing relevant opportunities and flagging what is gaining traction before it peaks
- You collaborate closely with the internal team, contributing to briefings, content calendars, and performance reviews in a structured and reliable way
- You track and report on content performance, translating data into clear observations and actionable recommendations for the account
Your Skills
- You bring 2+ years of hands-on social media experience with a clear TikTok focus, ideally from a content creator, agency, or brand-side background
- You think in TikTok natively: you understand FYP mechanics, trend cycles, and the difference between content that converts and content that gets scrolled past
- You are fluent in English at native or near-native level and communicate clearly and confidently in a professional context
- You are comfortable working independently in a freelance setup, managing your own time, meeting deadlines, and staying proactive without close supervision
- You actively use AI tools in your content workflow and are experienced with Canva, video editing tools, and social analytics platforms
