Clutch is looking for an experienced Freelance PR Copywriter with social, digital and earned media experience for a client of ours. Our client is a creative communications agency built for the ambitious. They are obsessed with the art and science of attention and specialize in creative that earns—crafting impactful ideas that champion lasting change across PR, social, and digital landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-impact, conceptual copy for integrated campaigns spanning earned media, social, and digital platforms.
- Translate complex brand strategies into captivating narratives that inspire action and drive cultural conversation.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, and account teams to brainstorm and execute "killer work" that helps clients grow.
- Adapt writing tone and style seamlessly across a diverse portfolio of brands, ranging from consumer goods to highly regulated sectors.
- Manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously, delivering polished, presentation-ready copy on tight deadlines.
- Participate in internal creative huddles to push the boundaries of traditional PR and advertising.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of copywriting experience within a creative agency or fast-paced communications environment.
- Must have significant experience writing for the healthcare, or healthcare adjacent (wellness, beauty, etc.) with the ability to navigate regulatory nuances without sacrificing creativity.
- A portfolio showcasing "creative that earns"—work that demonstrates wit, heart, and the power to command attention.
- Proven ability to write across various formats: punchy social captions, long-form thought leadership, video scripts, and earned media pitches.
- Strong collaborative spirit; you are a keen listener who can take constructive feedback and run with it.
- Exceptional proofreading skills and an eagle eye for detail, grammar, and brand voice consistency.
