The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New York, NY 10001 (Hybrid). Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Pay: $30-34/hr
2-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
Shift will be hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and consumer insights.
- Monitor and report on business performance, managing performance trackers and providing actionable insights for new product launch and business management.
- Support product launch processes, including concept creation, sample management, artwork management, and coordination with local markets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, R&I, Agencies, Education, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure timely execution of marketing projects.
- Maintain communication with local marketing teams to ensure alignment on global strategies.
- Assist in organizing international events, meetings, and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in beauty, FMCG, or related industries (internships included).
- Conceptual thinker, able to translate diverse technical and trend inspiration into consumer-relevant storytelling and claims.
- Advanced analytics capability of interpreting market and consumer data.
- Well-organized with strong project management skills, and self-motivated; action- and results-oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong skills in tactile/aesthetic evaluation of cosmetic products as well as passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn.
