About Firefly
Firefly is building the modern safety stack for the United States, using AI and connected IoT technologies to protect the spaces where people live, work, and learn. We focus on designing safety solutions that are intelligent, integrated, and easy to deploy across diverse environments. Team members collaborate at the intersection of technology, design, and public safety to create products that have meaningful real-world impact. Firefly offers an environment where creative professionals can contribute to mission-driven work while helping define the visual identity of a growing brand.
The Role
Much of our growth comes through partners, and we're looking for a sharp, creative designer to build the materials that help them sell and launch Firefly.
What you'll do
You'll own the visual side of our partner program, from first pitch to customer onboarding.
- Pre-sale: Design demo decks, one-pagers, and use-case stories, and write the demo scripts that partners use to pitch Firefly to end customers
- Activation: Design onboarding guides, welcome kits, and how-to visuals for customers who come to us through partners
- Messaging: Shape clear, compelling partner-facing messaging and translate it into standout visual design
- Templates: Design a library of reusable, co-brandable assets in Figma that partners can edit on their own while staying consistent with the Firefly brand
- Collaboration: Work closely with our partnerships and marketing team as their go-to designer, turn requests around quickly, and iterate on what works
You might be a fit if you
- Are a strong visual designer with a genuine love for great products and a sharp eye for UI/UX
- Think about how people actually use what you design, and craft materials that feel as intuitive as a well-built product
- Have consumer brand experience and bring real creative range
- Are proficient in Figma and other design tools
- Can explain your design choices to non-designers
- Move fast, take feedback well, and bring your own ideas
- Bonus: Have startup or freelance experience, a background in product or UI/UX design, or can write clear, persuasive copy to go alongside your visuals
Compensation
$40-$50 hourly
How it works
A quick intro chat, then a short paid task. If it's a fit, we'll workshop together and you'll build out our first library of assets.
