3.1 PHILLIP LIM is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a freelance basis. This role supports the visual expression of the brand across e-commerce, email, social media, paid media, photo production, events, wholesale, PR, and other marketing initiatives. The Graphic Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to create, adapt, organize, and deliver cohesive visual assets while maintaining the brand's visual standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital & Marketing Asset Production

Resize and adapt existing imagery for email, SMS, homepage, social media, and paid advertising, ensuring assets meet the correct platform dimensions and specifications.
Add copy and other required graphic elements to existing imagery when needed.
Design email and social creative assets, including JPEGs, video, and GIFs, for marketing initiatives.
Create and adapt creative for Instagram Stories, homepage placements, email, SMS, and other digital touchpoints.

Paid Media

Create and adapt Meta and Google advertising creative across key campaign needs, including sale, new-season introductions, and UGC content.
Ensure paid media assets are visually consistent with the brand identity and appropriate for each platform and campaign objective.

Seasonal E-Commerce Shoots

Attend seasonal e-commerce shoots on set and work closely with the photographer and photo assistant to ensure all products are photographed and the shoot remains on schedule.
Use the pre-produced shot list to track products photographed and monitor shoot progress throughout the day.
Review and select final e-commerce images for each look, targeting approximately five key images per look, including styled/casual, full-body with and without accessories, side, back, and detail/close-up imagery as appropriate.
Review style-out guides and work with the production team and stylists to ensure the intended looks are captured.
After the shoot, review photographer-edited selects and perform a final light-editing pass to address details such as flyaway hairs, wrinkles, bumps, and other minor imperfections before final delivery.
Prepare and organize final image assets for handoff to the e-commerce team.
Support the creation of image decks used by copywriters to develop e-commerce product copy.

Photo Editing & Retouching

Perform light retouching on styled photography and other brand imagery.
Make photo color adjustments and minor visual corrections as needed while maintaining a natural, consistent brand aesthetic.

Brand & Event Creative

Create creative flyers, decks, invitations, and other visual materials for wholesale, PR, Japan, and internal brand initiatives.
Develop creative for market appointments, store events, private events, trunk shows, sample sales, and other special projects.
Maintain consistency with the brand's established visual identity, typography, logos, and creative standards across all materials.

Workflow & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Manage multiple creative requests and deadlines across digital marketing, e-commerce, wholesale, PR, and other teams.
Work from team task lists and established production workflows to organize incoming creative requests and deliver assets on schedule.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify deliverables, and ensure final creative meets the intended use and specifications.
Maintain organized files and final assets so creative can be easily accessed and reused by the broader team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, preferably within the fashion, luxury, retail, or lifestyle industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, as well as Keynote and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, visual hierarchy, and digital asset specifications.
Strong photo-editing and light-retouching skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to create and adapt static, animated, and video creative for digital marketing channels.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative, e-commerce, marketing, wholesale, PR, and production teams.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Passion for fashion, art, photography, and design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and brand creative work.
