We are seeking a skilled Writer/Editor to join our client's team, focusing on producing high-quality content related to personal finance topics. This role involves creating, editing, and publishing content on subjects such as credit scoring, money management, banking, and credit products. The ideal candidate will uphold high editorial standards and work closely with a team of content strategists, subject matter experts, quality specialists, and freelance writers to deliver accurate, engaging, and consumer-friendly financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and edit personal-finance content optimized for traditional and AI search platforms, adhering to best practices.
- Apply editorial style guides and ensure consistency and accuracy across all published materials.
- Maintain strict standards for accuracy, research integrity, and editorial rigor.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within content marketing and across multiple offices and time zones.
- Create content on credit scoring, banking, credit cards, and loans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage individual projects independently from inception to publication, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of writing or editing experience in relevant personal finance fields.
- Proven ability to simplify complex financial topics into clear, practical information for consumers.
- Strong project and time management skills, with excellent communication abilities.
- Experience working independently and managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
- High editorial standards and experience following AP or equivalent style guides.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within highly regulated industries or on finance-related content.
- Knowledge of structured enterprise problem-solving methodologies or internal governance frameworks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage workload accordingly.
