About the Role
The Social Media Marketing Manager will own our social media presence and help drive brand awareness and customer growth. This is a role for someone who can produce, edit, and post content on a consistent cadence, manage email marketing campaigns, develop brand collaborations, engage with customers across our social and messaging channels, and is fluent in modern AI tools. We're open to full-time, part-time, or freelance arrangements for the right candidate. For example, this could be a freelance engagement focused on going live, producing content, and establishing our posting schedule
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management: Own and grow our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook; produce, edit, and post compelling content on a regular cadence aligned with brand goals
Email Marketing: Build, segment, and execute marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive repeat business
Campaign Development: Design and execute organic multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and boost brand visibility
Digital Advertising: Work alongside our digital advertising lead to assist with paid campaigns, SEO, and reporting – providing creative assets, copy, audience input, and an extra set of capable hands wherever they’re needed
AI-Powered Workflow: Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, copywriting, image and video editing, customer response drafting, research, and reporting
Brand Collaborations & Influencer Partnerships: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with influencers, brand partners, and collaborators in the commercial vehicle and trades space
Event Marketing: Plan and execute participation in industry events and trade shows to position FAM Vans as a leader in commercial vehicle solutions
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of digital marketing or social media experience producing content and using analytics tools
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for content generation, editing, and workflow automation
- Experience with content marketing, email marketing, and lead generation strategies
- Skills in graphic design, video editing and photography
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual content
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Deeper expertise in paid media, SEO, or performance marketing – ideally someone who could grow into owning more of that work over time
- Comfort going live on social platforms in addition to producing recorded content
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, or email platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite reporting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
