We are looking for a Social Media Manager & Video Editor to join our team and lead the execution of social presence across our music clients. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and creation. You will not only plan what gets posted, you will help bring it to life.
What You’ll Be DoingYou will own both the thinking and the making behind artist social presence.
Social Strategy + Ideation
- Build and manage monthly content calendars for artists across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
- Develop creative concepts tied to music releases, rollouts, and ongoing artist narratives
- Identify trends, formats, and cultural moments, translating them into content ideas with viral potential
- Write copy and captions that align with the artist’s voice and overall brand direction
Content Creation + Video Editing
- Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Create engaging, platform-native content that feels current, fast, and culturally aware
- Work with raw footage, UGC, and artist-provided content to turn ideas into finished assets
- Bring a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual instinct to every piece of content
Execution + Platform Management
- Handle day-to-day posting, scheduling, and optimization across platforms
- Manage community engagement, fan interaction, and comment strategy
- Monitor content performance and adjust direction in real time
Analytics + Optimization
- Track performance across platforms and campaigns
- Set and measure KPIs for growth, engagement, and reach
- Present insights and reports to internal team and clients
- Continuously refine strategy based on data and platform behavior
Who You Are- You are deeply tapped into internet culture and how content spreads
- You understand music rollouts and how fans engage with artists online
- You move fast creatively and know how to execute ideas without overthinking
- You are both analytical and instinctive, using data without losing taste
- You are collaborative, communicative, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- You take ownership of your work and bring ideas to the table, not just execution
Required Experience- 3+ years in social media management, preferably within music or entertainment
- Experience working on artist campaigns or music-related projects
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts ecosystems
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience- Video editing and content creation experience (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar
- Experience with Asana, Later, Google Suite, Dropbox
