Texas Sports Academy operates an accelerated academic program combined with high-level athletic training. Student-athletes attend class, train on the field, and work in the gym every weekday—moments that deserve to be filmed. Your role is to be on-site, spot the story, film it, edit it, and publish it. No production studio. No approval process. No creative guidelines. Spend four to five hours on campus each weekday, then your day is complete.
We are bringing on four videographers—one for each of our Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston campuses. From your first day, you will manage all social content for your location, with follower growth and engagement serving as the primary metrics for your performance. This is a part-time position: 20–25 hours weekly at $30 per hour, on-site during weekdays. The content you create is visible, measurable, and entirely your own.

What You Will Be Doing
- Being on campus 4–5 hours each weekday to film authentic, unscripted moments with student-athletes using your mobile device
- Editing and publishing content to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day—native to each platform, with no delays or approvals
- Analyzing performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, follower growth) to understand what resonates and why
- Refining your approach to hooks, video formats, and subject matter based on data rather than assumptions
- Sustaining a consistent daily posting rhythm without interruption
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Following a content calendar created by someone else—you control what gets filmed and shared
- Creating highly produced content that requires days to complete
- Waiting for creative sign-off before you can publish
- Working from a desk; you'll be on the ground with your phone out every weekday
Social Media Videographer Key Responsibilities
Develop a rapidly growing TikTok and Instagram Reels presence for Texas Sports Academy by filming and publishing engaging campus content on a daily basis.
Basic Requirements
- Demonstrated history of posting short-form video content regularly on TikTok and/or Instagram Reels
- Located in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston, TX; on-site presence required during weekdays
- Able to commit to 4–5 hours of on-campus filming each weekday, Monday through Friday
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience in athletics, youth sports, or educational settings—at ease working on the ground with student-athletes
- Proven ability to identify and adapt trending formats to a specific audience, subject, or community
- History of measurable follower growth linked to a posting strategy you can clearly explain

Working with us
This is a part-time (25 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $37,500 USD/year assuming 25 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
