Social Media & Creator Partnerships Manager — Harpoon Media
Harpoon Media is an innovative creator agency built for a video-first generation. Studios and distributors, including Paramount, Sony, Warner Bros, A24 and IFC/Shudder, hire us to put their films in front of the creators who care about them. We are looking for a Social Media & Creator Partnerships Manager to run the Instagram for pixelscene media, our creator-facing brand, and to help build the creator relationships behind every campaign.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to be handed a list. For each film, you’ll help find the right creators, bring them on through screenings, early access and premieres, and see them through to the post. You'll be working directly with our U.S.-based co-founders as well as our remote influencer account management team.
Location, Travel & Compensation- Location: Los Angeles preferred. Remote within the US considered.
- Work Authorization: You must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to sponsor visas.
- Travel: Occasional travel to screenings, premieres and film festivals.
- Compensation:$55,000 to $70,000] (commensurate with experience).
- Structure: Begins as a contract position with a clear path to full-time employment and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Run the Account: Set the look of the pixelscene media Instagram, then build it from what creators already tag us in, across feed, Stories and collab posts. Reply to comments and DMs within a day.
- Build Creator Lists: For each film, find the Instagram and TikTok creators whose audience fits it.
- Outreach & Relationships: Short, personal DMs, steady follow-up, and a roster you keep warm between campaigns.
- Connect Creators to Films: Confirm creators for screenings, early access and premieres, help run those events, and see each creator through to the post. Log it all in the campaign tracker.
Technical Skillset- Social Fluency: Native on Instagram and TikTok, with a working knowledge of the film creator world: reactors, reviewers, fan edit accounts and clippers.
- Organization: Comfortable keeping creator lists and outreach clean in Google Sheets.
- AI-Native: Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up research and admin.
- Light Design & Editing: Comfortable making a quick Story graphic in Canva or trimming a clip in CapCut. You won't be producing content, but you should be able to repost it well.
The Ideal Candidate- Account Experience (Required): You have run a brand or creator account and can show growth you drove.
- Taste: You can look at forty posts and say which three deserve a repost, and why.
- Relationship Builder: Creators remember you and want to work with you again.
- Not a Content Role: Our creators make the content. If you would rather write decks about Instagram than be in the DMs, this is the wrong job.
