This role reflects a creative agency and design studio model where visual design meets production design tooling and workflow expertise. The focus is on translating brand strategy and design systems into high-quality presentation design. You will operate as a hands-on design expert, owning complex workstreams end-to-end and elevating the quality and consistency of production output.

You will partner closely with the Senior Manager, Production Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure work is executed with clarity, craftsmanship, and operational rigor. This is a strictly individual contributor role focused primarily on direct design execution and production workstreams.

This role is ideal for a highly hands-on Visual Designer with strong presentation design expertise and production design experience. While production workflow knowledge is important, success in this role will be driven by exceptional visual design skills, creative problem-solving, strong typography and layout expertise, and the ability to develop compelling concepts from open-ended briefs. Candidates should demonstrate versatility across brands and audiences, a strong point of view, and a portfolio that showcases bold creative thinking and presentation-driven work.

A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design expertise, systems thinking, high-volume execution, and brand-led production, with a particular focus on presentation design, is required.

This is an onsite , 5-month contract assignment. Candidates must be able to work in Los Angeles, CA, and cannot hold H-1B visa status. Hourly rate is $125.00/hour. Benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C.

Responsibilities

Visual Design Craft & Hands-On Production Design

Own and drive production design across complex, high-volume workstreams, with a focus on presentations for executive stakeholders. Additional work may include lower-funnel marketing assets, campaign toolkits, and sales materials.
Bridge elevated visual craft with production efficiency. Develop daring, high-impact visual concepts from open-ended briefs while maintaining consistency with brand design systems and ensuring technical scalability across platforms.
Translate brand design systems, toolkits, and creative direction into scalable production frameworks that support speed, consistency, and quality across teams and partners.
Serve as a hands-on design lead, producing work directly while also elevating the output of the broader production design team.
Help establish best practices and quality benchmarks that raise the bar for design output across the team.

Cross-Functional Creative Support

Act as a trusted creative partner to teams across Corporate Communications, Brand, Client House, and Ads Marketing, supporting a wide range of deliverables, from performance marketing and physical environments to executive communications.
Lead presentation design for high-visibility projects where clarity, consistency, and brand expression are critical.
Ensure work is fit for purpose across audiences and channels while maintaining alignment with Client brand standards.

Quality, Craft & Continuous Improvement

Uphold high standards of design quality across all production outputs, including executive-facing and external presentation materials.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and templates to increase efficiency and consistency while elevating creative quality.
Stay current on best practices in production design, creative operations, and design tools.

Qualifications

8 to 12 years of experience in visual design and/or production design within a creative agency, design studio, or large-scale in-house brand team.
Proven track record of leading high-volume, brand-led production design across multiple channels and formats.
Strong background in building, managing, and evolving design systems, templates, and modular frameworks.
Experience leading a broad range of design outputs, including presentation design for senior leadership, sales initiatives, physical events, and digital and print marketing materials.
Ability to translate complex information into clear, well-structured visual communications across multiple formats.
Strong individual contributor mindset with a focus on direct execution and visual craftsmanship.
Exceptional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
Fluency in modern design tools and workflows, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Slides; motion design experience is a plus.
Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance workflows while identifying inefficiencies in production processes (project examples are a plus).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A hands-on leader who can move fluidly between strategic thinking, systems-level problem-solving, and direct design contribution.
