We’re looking for a UX Designer to help shape internal software for teams across Legal, Compliance, and Marketing. You’ll work directly with the people who use these tools to understand their workflows, turn their feedback into design decisions, and make the products easy to use and visually consistent.
This is a hands-on role on a team that uses AI throughout design and development. You’ll have room to explore ideas quickly, use tools like Codex to build interactive prototypes, and test how a workflow feels before the team commits to building it. We value curiosity, creative problem-solving, and the ability to explain why a design works for the people using it.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with end users and stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to understand how they work, where they get stuck, and what they need from the software.
- Turn business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that help teams agree on how the product should work.
- Design clear, polished interfaces for internal tools, with attention to navigation, layout, visual hierarchy, and consistency across products.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Codex to explore design directions, prototype interactions, and communicate ideas to engineering.
- Walk stakeholders through prototypes, run lightweight usability tests with end users, and refine designs based on what you learn.
- Partner with product and engineering from discovery through implementation, clarifying design details and reviewing the built experience before launch.
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio that shows how you moved from a user problem to a design decision and refined the experience based on feedback. Professional, freelance, academic, or self-directed projects are welcome.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma or a comparable design tool.
- Strong visual design fundamentals and the ability to make complex workflows feel straightforward.
- Comfort talking with stakeholders, asking questions about how they work, and explaining design decisions in plain language.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in a design or prototyping workflow, or a portfolio project that shows how you’ve experimented with them.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing internal tools, enterprise software, or workflow-heavy products.
- Familiarity with forms, approvals, dashboards, or role-based experiences.
- Experience using Codex or another AI coding tool to turn a design into a working prototype.
