Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week

Company Description
Founded by celebrity makeup artist Quinn Murphy, SPATCH is a prestige beauty brand built on the philosophy of effortless, high-performance makeup. We are an award-winning brand, recognized by Oprah’s Beauty, Elle, and Marie Claire. SPATCH is currently available at Ulta.com, Nordstrom.com, and select luxury boutiques nationwide. We speak to a sophisticated Millennial and Gen X audience who values professional-grade results and a refined, skin-first aesthetic.
We are seeking a creative, self-starting Social Media Producer and Coordinator to lead our digital presence. We need a "department of one" who can film, edit, schedule, and strategize independently. This is a part-time role for someone ready to hit the ground running, bringing fresh ideas to the table without needing daily oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Production: Concept, film, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video (TikToks, Reels, Stories) and capture clean, elevated product photography across our entire product line.
- Monthly & Daily Execution: Lead dedicated monthly shoot days (~6 hours/month) to batch-produce core brand assets, alongside managing daily posting, caption writing, and community engagement.
- Product-First Visuals: Elevate our complete product portfolio by creating aspirational, high-prestige visuals that highlight formula textures, packaging details, and real application results.
- Growth & Conversion: Drive channel growth and revenue through trust-building content—delivering expert-led beauty insights and skin-first education rather than traditional "hard sell" marketing.
- Trend & Channel Strategy: Translate emerging social trends into sophisticated, brand-aligned content that resonates with our audience, prioritizing value-driven beauty tips over fleeting memes.
- Influencer Outreach & Gifting: Research and curate strategic creator lists for ongoing product gifting and content partnerships to expand brand reach.
Work Structure and Expectations
- Flexible Schedule: Part-time role requiring 10–15 hours per week, with the autonomy to manage your own hours as long as deliverables and deadlines are consistently met.
- Autonomous Workflow: We value efficiency and independence, encouraging a "batch production" model (blocking dedicated time for filming and editing) to maintain a consistent posting pipeline.
- Weekly Team Sync: Brief weekly check-ins to align on campaign goals and weekly deliverables, operating independently otherwise.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Professional Experience: 2-3 years background managing social media and end-to-end content creation (photo and video) for a beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brand (internship experience accepted).
- Social & Platform Strategy: Proven expertise on TikTok and Instagram, with a strong grasp of platform algorithms, engagement strategy, and trend cycles.
- Proactive & Experimental Self-Starter: Highly autonomous and eager to take ownership—experimenting with new ideas, testing creative formats, and self-managing deadlines without needing step-by-step direction.
- Prestige Brand Alignment: Deep understanding of the SPATCH aesthetic—clean, elevated, and professional, with a strong eye for making beauty products look aspirational.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Instagram, TikTok, mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot, etc.), and basic photo editing software (Canva, Photoshop).
- Location: Hybrid New York City
