99 Yards is an AI-powered fashion platform connecting brands and designers with verified manufacturers, creative professionals, agencies, and industry services. We are building the digital infrastructure that helps the fashion ecosystem move from concept to campaign.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support our digital presence and online community. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation, event marketing, community engagement, and brand storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Create posts, captions, Stories, Reels, and TikTok videos.
- Assist with managing the social media content calendar.
- Promote 99 Yards events, partnerships, platform features, and community members.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content at fashion shows, panels, mixers, and activations.
- Conduct short interviews with designers, founders, creatives, and fashion professionals.
- Research trends in fashion, technology, sustainability, and social media.
- Engage with followers and help respond to comments and messages.
- Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing, events, and creative teams.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, fashion, media, or a related subject.
- Strong interest in fashion, technology, startups, and social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable creating and appearing in short-form video content.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools is preferred.
- Creative, dependable, organized, and eager to learn.
- Available to attend select New York City events when needed.
- Photography or video-editing experience is a plus.
