Contract through the end of 2026
Regulated Industry Experience: Previous experience designing for highly regulated environments such as healthcare systems, health insurance plans, or banking/finance.
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to spearhead creative initiatives and produce high-impact visual assets. This role is pivotal in executing creative strategies across diverse channels—including digital, mobile, print, and video—to elevate our brand presence. The successful candidate will act as a brand steward, ensuring consistent messaging while introducing innovative storytelling techniques to captivate our audience.
Essential Functions (Key Roles & Responsibilities)
- Creative Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of design projects, ensuring every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality, visual excellence, and brand alignment.
- Omnichannel Execution: Produce compelling visual content for diverse platforms, including web, mobile applications, email campaigns, video production, signage, and print collateral.
- Brand Stewardship: Serve as a subject matter expert on brand identity, providing guidance and strategic consultation to internal stakeholders system-wide.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with departments to translate business requirements into effective visual solutions that drive project goals.
- Project Management: Manage workflows to ensure all projects are executed on schedule and within budget, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mentorship: Provide leadership, creative direction, and technical guidance to junior design staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
- Market Innovation: Proactively monitor and integrate the latest design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to keep the organization's visual identity modern and effective.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 4–6 years of demonstrated expertise as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, or similar role within a healthcare or insurance marketing/advertising environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Robust portfolio reflecting diverse design capabilities across multiple media formats.
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
