Social Content Specialist
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Travel: Occasional travel, approximately once per quarter
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy Social Content Specialist who lives and breathes social media, storytelling, and short-form content. This role will create engaging, platform-native content across channels including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, with a strong emphasis on authentic, lo-fi, and UGC-style creative.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with creators, influencers, and UGC workflows and understands how to create content that feels native to each platform rather than overly polished or traditional. This person should have a strong eye for design and editing, stay ahead of social trends, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation — 90%
- Create engaging, thumb-stopping social content that resonates with target audiences across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
- Develop static graphics and edit short-form video using current trends and platform best practices.
- Create authentic, platform-native content with a strong focus on UGC and creator-style execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, creators, influencers, and agency partners to bring social concepts to life.
- Contribute to content briefs, creator briefs, social toolkits, and creative templates.
- Stay current on emerging social trends, platform updates, formats, sounds, and cultural moments.
- Adapt content to the unique tone, format, and audience expectations of each platform.
- Use performance insights and engagement data to inform future content development.
Community Management — 10%
- Monitor and engage with audiences across owned social channels using social media management tools.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Identify and flag emerging trends, issues, and engagement opportunities.
- Help maintain a consistent, authentic social voice across platforms.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience creating social media content.
- Strong experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Hands-on experience with creators, influencers, or UGC programs and workflows.
- Strong understanding of platform-native and social-first content.
- Portfolio demonstrating recent short-form video, UGC-style, lo-fi, or creator-driven content.
- Strong graphic design and video editing skills.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Ability to create content that feels authentic and native to the platform rather than overly produced.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management platforms; Sprinklr experience is a plus.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience developing or contributing to creative and creator briefs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience demonstrating engagement or performance results from previous social content is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

- Recent short-form video experience.
- A strong understanding of what performs organically on social platforms.
- The ability to contribute to both creative concepts and creator/content briefs.
- Examples of social content with measurable engagement or performance.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position.
- Candidates located in the Greater Chicago or Greater New York Metro areas are preferred.
- Candidates in these areas should be available for occasional onsite meetings, approximately once per quarter.
- Candidates outside these markets may be considered if they are located on the East Coast.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on content needs or community engagement.
