Role Description
We are seeking a Graphic Design Instructor for a remote contract role. In this position, you will develop and deliver engaging instructional content in graphic design, guide students through visual communication concepts, assess their progress, and provide constructive feedback. You will also create lesson plans, share industry insights, and support learners in mastering tools and techniques essential to graphic and web design.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to teach foundational and advanced design principles.
- Knowledge of Visual Communication and Typography, with an emphasis on translating ideas into effective visual messages.
- Strong expertise in Web Design, including user-centered design principles and familiarity with design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to effectively guide and mentor students in their design journey.
- Prior experience in instructional design or teaching is a plus.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools for remote instruction is highly desirable.
- A portfolio demonstrating professional design work in various domains.
