Our client in Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for an Interior Designer (Contract Furniture – Dealer Side). This position is a hybrid opportunity in Seattle, WA, working 3 days onsite and 2 days working with the client. This position does not support relocation, and candidates must reside close to Seattle, WA upon applying. This role supports a high‑volume corporate Starbucks account and requires strong experience on the contract furniture dealer side. This is not an A&D role and is not intended for entry‑level designers.
Pay – $33.00–$38.00/hr (Depending on years of experience, tenure, software proficiency, and relevant contract furniture experience)
Location – Seattle, WA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days with client onsite)
Schedule – Standard Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)
(Responsibilities)
- Develop furniture layouts and space plans for private offices and support spaces
- Produce accurate furniture specifications and order documentation
- Utilize CET and AutoCAD for layout, planning, and detailing
- Support multiple active projects with frequent changes and tight timelines
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams
- Act as a knowledgeable, client‑facing design resource
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the design and ordering process
(Qualification Requirements)
- 5+ years of experience on the contract furniture dealer side
- Proficiency in CET and AutoCAD (Non‑Negotiable)
- Commercial office space planning experience
- Strong client communication skills
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working with furniture manufacturers or dealers (Haworth preferred)

- No contract furniture dealer experience
- No CET or AutoCAD proficiency
- Limited commercial office space planning experience
- Not comfortable in a client‑facing role
- Less than 5 years of relevant contract furniture experience
