Job Summary:
The Channel Metadata Analyst supports digital marketing operations by managing metadata, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data accuracy across marketing programs. This role focuses on dashboard management, data analysis, and operational execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position plays a critical role in improving efficiency, maintaining data standards, and enabling scalable digital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily metadata tagging and dashboard operations across multiple marketing programs, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain content, align processes, and uphold data governance standards
• Utilize Salesforce for metadata management and operational tracking
• Perform data querying, analysis, and automation using SQL
• Develop and maintain operational documentation including playbooks, guides, and responsibility matrices
• Support onboarding and training of cross-functional teams on workflows and processes
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate data inputs and outputs
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
• Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Smartsheet, PowerBI, and similar tools
• Support email marketing operations including preference center and campaign workflows
• Stay current with digital marketing operations trends and recommend improvements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with digital marketing operations, database or content management, and project management
• Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, PowerBI, and Salesforce
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Marketo and Snowflake
• Exposure to email marketing operations and preference center management
• Experience with workflow and project management tools such as Workfront
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
