Junior Interior Design / Architectural Assistant – Freelance (Miami)
High-end interior designer based in Miami is looking for a reliable junior assistant for occasional site visits and drafting support on residential projects.
This is a freelance, on-call position—ideal for a student or recent graduate in interior design or architecture looking to gain hands-on experience on luxury projects.
Responsibilities:
• Taking site measurements (walls, doors, windows, ceiling heights)
• Photographing and documenting existing conditions
• Drafting basic dimensioned floor plans (AutoCAD or SketchUp)
• Assisting with occasional technical or sourcing tasks
Requirements:
• Based in Miami and available for on-site visits
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Own transportation
Compensation:
Paid hourly or per site visit, depending on project size.
