About iFLO Pro and the Role
iFLO Pro is a leading innovator in smart, preventative HVAC maintenance technology, focused on eliminating A/C drain line clogs, water damage, and related insurance claims.
The Global Expansion & Partnership Lead will be the architect of iFLO Pro's international market entry and the primary driver of strategic alliances with the global insurance industry. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role requiring a blend of strategic business development, cross-cultural leadership, and deep commercial acumen, specifically where technology intersects with risk management.
Key Responsibilities
I. International Expansion & Market Entry
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute the phased go-to-market (GTM) strategy for launching iFLO Pro in new international markets, including market sizing, competitor analysis, and clear prioritization of target regions.
- Localization: Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure product compliance, regulatory readiness, and cultural adaptation of the iFLO Pro offering for target countries.
- Launch Execution: Own the full international launch lifecycle, from initial pilot programs to full-scale commercialization, establishing initial sales channels and local distribution models.
II. Strategic Partnerships (Insurance Focus)
- Targeting: Identify, prioritize, and secure high-value strategic partnerships with global and regional insurance carriers, brokers, managing general agents (MGAs), and reinsurers.
- Value Proposition: Craft compelling, data-driven partnership proposals that clearly articulate how iFLO Pro's preventative technology can significantly reduce water damage claims and associated risk, directly benefiting the partner's underwriting profitability.
- Negotiation & Structuring: Lead complex deal negotiations, structuring agreements (e.g., co-marketing, preferred vendor status, integration, data-sharing) that deliver mutual value and drive iFLO Pro adoption.
III. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Pipeline Generation: Build and manage a strategic pipeline of international and partnership-led revenue opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate growth targets.
- Thought Leadership: Represent iFLO Pro at international trade shows and insurance industry conferences, establishing the company as a credible solution provider in the InsurTech and risk mitigation space.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new market expansion and partnership success (e.g., partner-sourced revenue, claims reduction data, time-to-market).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy, with a proven track record of exceeding growth targets.
- Industry Expertise: Deep domain knowledge of the global insurance industry (Property & Casualty/Homeowners insurance highly preferred), including a clear understanding of underwriting, claims processes, and risk management.
- Global Acumen: Demonstrated experience leading or supporting international market expansion projects, including navigating cultural, regulatory, and logistical challenges.
- Negotiation: Exceptional contract negotiation and complex deal-making skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
