High-Performance Video Editor | AI-Forward | Denver (Hybrid)
DHC Media is a growing corporate media agency looking for a heavy-hitting editor who values efficiency over "busy work." We are moving away from traditional, slow workflows and need a partner who can handle raw footage natively and leverage AI to deliver high-quality content at speed.
The RoleThis is a contract position starting at ~10 hours per week, with the potential to scale as our project load increases. You will be the "finish line" for our high-end corporate and social content.
- Corporate Projects: Brand stories, testimonials, and internal comms.
- Social Content: High-impact, short-form edits for various platforms.
- The Workflow: We bypass the proxy-creation phase. You will be working directly with raw high-resolution footage to maximize turnaround speed.
Compensation & Logistics- Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour .
- Location: Denver, CO 80216. You must be able to pick up physical drives from our studio.
- The "Drive Swap" Credit: We respect your time. Every drive pickup/swap is billed as a flat 1-hour pay credit ($40–$45) to cover your travel and gas.
What We Need From You- ✅ 4+ Years Pro Experience: You know Premiere Pro (or similar) inside and out. You don't "guess" at storytelling; you understand pacing and emotion.
- ✅ High-Performance Hardware: Since we don't use proxies, your workstation must be a beast. You should be able to scrub 4K/6K raw timelines smoothly without lag.
- ✅ AI-Forward Workflow: You proactively use AI tools (for transcription, rotoscoping, audio cleanup, etc.) to work smarter and faster.
- ✅ Reliability: You are a professional who hits deadlines without being chased.
Technical Requirements (Must Meet to Apply)Because of our "No-Proxy" workflow, your setup must meet these minimums:
- Processor: Apple Silicon (M1 Max or better) or high-end PC equivalent (i9/Ryzen 9).
- RAM: 32GB minimum (64GB preferred).
- Connection: Thunderbolt 3/4 for external drive editing.
