Role: Social Media Coordinator
Type: Full or Part-time 6 month Contract with opportunity to transition to a Full-Time salary position
Location: Required to be in office in Boulder, CO. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required.

Compensation: $26 to $30 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION
Caruso Ventures is seeking a reliable, driven Social Media Coordinator to support the Boulder Roots Music Festival’s social media presence, with additional support across other Caruso Ventures–owned social channels as needed.
This role plays a key part in keeping Boulder Roots’ social media channels active and engaging, supporting consistent posting, community interaction, and festival coverage throughout the year. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and enthusiastic about music, culture, and live events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Posting & Scheduling
- Publish content across Boulder Roots social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok) according to an established content calendar
- Support consistent posting frequency, including feed posts, stories, and short-form video
- Assist with scheduling, copy writing, tagging, and basic formatting
- Help maintain a consistent festival voice and tone across platforms
Community Management
- Monitor comments, mentions, and direct messages
- Respond to audience questions and engagement in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Flag issues, questions, or sensitive communications to senior team members as needed
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged online community
Content Support
- Assist with basic content creation (short-form video clips, simple graphics, reposts, stories)
- Help source and organize content from artists, partners, and on-site teams
- Support artist announcements, ticket promotions, and community spotlights
Festival & Live Event Support
- Assist with real-time social posting during Boulder Roots Music Festival and related events
- Capture and post timely content during live moments, working with on-site teams
- Support pre-festival buildup and post-festival recap content
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 0–3 years of experience supporting social media accounts for brands, events, or organizations
- Familiarity with major social platforms and their basic best practices
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort editing clips in Adobe Premiere Pro experience preferred
- Comfortable with mobile-first content creation tools (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Canva)
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to support content creation, ideation, caption drafting, scheduling workflows, and basic research
- Organized, dependable, and responsive
- Interest in music, arts, or live events strongly preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours during festival periods

CONTRACT DETAILS
- Contract role through September 2026 (full-time opportunity may be available thereafter subject to performance and business needs)
- Compensation commensurate with experience and time commitment
