Job Description
We are seeking a Freelance Content Creator to capture both photo and video content for beauty and aesthetics brands. This role is responsible for independently shooting short-form social media content during scheduled 2-hour shoots using provided shot lists. You will be the on-site content creator working directly with clients and talent.
All creative direction and shot lists are provided — your role is to execute, capture high-quality content, and upload files after each shoot. Must be comfortable on camera.
All shoot dates are scheduled one month in advance.
Schedule
- Approximately 4–5 shoot days per month (1 Shoot Required Travel to NYC. Transit Costs Compensated)
- Each shoot is approximately 2 hours
- A set monthly schedule is released one month in advance
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to scheduled shoot locations
- Capture photo and video content based on provided shot lists
- Film clean, well-framed vertical video for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Take high-quality photos for social media and marketing use
- Upload all raw photo and video files to a shared drive after each shoot
- Communicate any missing shots or issues during the shoot
- Serve as an on-camera model when required for beauty or lifestyle content
Qualifications
- 2-3 Years of Content Creation Experience
- Comfortable being on camera
- Able to work independently on-site
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow shot lists
- Able to confidently direct people while filming
