Marketing Manager (Contract)

Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the impact of web projects and cross-team initiatives, both proactively and in response to stakeholder requests
- Design, execute, and analyze web experiments using experimentation platforms and internal frameworks
- Utilize behavioral analytics tools to assess the impact of web design on engagement and usability, tracking user journeys and conversion funnels
- Answer ad-hoc questions about user behavior, funnel performance, and marketing program impact using analytics and business intelligence platforms
- Produce monthly reporting on web engagement, including session patterns, behavioral insights, and page-level trends
- Collaborate with product managers and marketers to clarify exploratory analytics questions and translate them into structured analyses
- Execute page-level and flow-level investigations to identify issues or opportunities across purchase and conversion paths
- Partner with Marketing Operations to analyze sales funnels from web lead sources
- Monitor data for outages, anomalies, or performance shifts to ensure data integrity
- Build dashboards and document new opportunities to support ongoing measurement needs
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in web analytics and/or marketing analytics
- Proven track record supporting marketing teams, growth teams, or web teams in understanding performance
- Background in performance marketing or agency environments with a data-forward approach
- Experience working with developer-focused products or technical audiences is beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data manipulation for analysis
- Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms for tracking, reporting, and interpreting user behavior and performance metrics
- Strong ability to interpret web data and translate metrics into actionable business insights
- Expertise in A/B testing methodologies, including experiment design, implementation, and results interpretation
- Deep understanding of statistical concepts such as power, significance, and confidence intervals
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with behavioral analytics tools such as FullStory
- SQL proficiency with comfort querying large datasets
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
- Knowledge of experimentation platforms such as Ninetailed, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly

- Pay Range*: $34 - $38.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
