INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Freelance Media Supervisor to join our growing team!
4+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying, and management across all relevant channels (e.g. digital video, programmatic, paid social, partnerships, etc.)
This freelance role starts ASAP through April 2025. Possibility to extend.
We are a hybrid workplace, x2 days week onsite. Local candidates only please.
OVERVIEW
The Media Supervisor for General Accounts [non-automotive] reports into the VP Media Strategy and Planning and works closely with the media team on the day-to-day media planning, implementation, and stewardship efforts.
This ideal candidate would have healthcare experience, a strong understanding of media planning processes including audience development, omni channel planning (linear, audio, OOH, print, digital), National and local experience, and OOH/Print/Digital execution experience. The Freelance Media Supervisor will work closely with several groups including the clients, internal account and media teams, and media vendors.
You are passionate about media, a team player, and has integrated media planning knowledge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the VP Media to help develop and execute integrated media strategies and plans that deliver on the client’s objectives and goals. This includes:
- Target research, strategic flighting, channel mixes, budget allocations, and partner recommendations
- Traditional and Digital channels (e.g. linear, audio, OOH, print, digital video, programmatic, paid social, paid search, partnerships, etc.)
- Help to provide media thought leadership and innovation to move client business forward
- Utilize effective time management and project management skills to ensure deadlines are being met with quality work across all accounts
- Ability to adapt and keep up with a quick paced environment; the planning team has several roles including strategy, planning, execution, and measurement
- Provide guidance and jump in when necessary, regarding media tools (e.g., Ad Intel, Simmons, ComScore, Campaign Manager, Prisma, etc.)
- A team player that’s not afraid to jump in and help out where needed (e.g., reporting, billing, trafficking, etc.)
EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying, and management across all relevant channels (e.g. digital video, programmatic, paid social, partnerships, etc.)
- National and local media planning experience a plus
- Knowledge of Media-related research, planning, buying & digital related resources (e.g., MRI Simmons, ComScore, Ad Intel, Campaign Manager, Media Ocean/Prisma, etc.)
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks and consistently meet deadlines
- Previous work in healthcare industry a plus
- Traditional and Digital trafficking experience (e.g., Campaign Manager)
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- B.S./B.A. required - preferably in Marketing/Communications

The current budget for this role is $95,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
