INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is looking for a freelance Technical Project Manager to join the Analytics & Data Science team.
This is a long-term, ongoing contract role.
3+ years experience as a technical PM.
No third-party vendors please or C2C offered.
Local candidates are preferred so you can participate in all that IUS has to offer, but remote is welcome! We employ in the following US states only: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, MA, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA.
This position is responsible for managing ongoing processes and workflows across data governance and client reporting requests across many stakeholders from kick-off through final deliverable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages established processes for third party tag implementation via JIRA
- Works with production and dev teams on data layer management process

Schedules kick off meetings to brief services if needed.

Facilitates the day-to-day deliverables of internal deadlines (based on client due dates) with a focus on stabilizing the shifting project triangle (scope, schedule, budget).

Creates and maintains timelines, communicates daily action items via JIRA and maintains status report for team meetings.

Manages communications internally and between stakeholders to reiterate the scheduled deliverables, relay revision requests, record the jobs progress, and to address obstacles as they arise.

Identifies scope creep (including re-brief, additional rounds or deliverables added after kick off).

Ensures that team members complete the appropriate check points throughout the process.

Obtains the required internal and stakeholder approvals.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of well-rounded technical/digital project management experience
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience in JIRA, Trello and Smartsheet for schedule development and milestone tracking.

Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile concepts

Bachelors degree preferred

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000. Pay is dependent uponseveralfactorsincluding but not limited to: client,experience, training and/or transferable skills.
