We’re hiring: Senior Social Content Producer / Creative Editor

We’re looking for an experienced creative to help build HXM’s social presence and an audience around our filmmaking.
We have a lot of footage and stories worth sharing. We need someone with strong creative taste who can find the ideas, shape the story and take a video from concept to finished edit without needing a detailed brief for every piece.
What you’ll do
• Learn our brand, filmmaking direction and audience, and understand what’s already performing well.
• Find compelling stories in our existing project and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Develop original concepts, hooks and recurring short-form formats.
• Edit videos with strong pacing, sound, captions and a visual style that feels like HXM.
• Deliver suggested post captions and cover frames alongside finished videos.
• Track performance and use what you learn to improve the next round of content.
What we’re looking for
• Based in Austin.
• Strong experience personally concepting and editing short-form video.
• A portfolio that shows storytelling, creative judgment and polished execution.
• An understanding of filmmaking culture and how to build an engaged audience around it.
• The initiative to bring ideas forward, meet deadlines and own the work from start to finish.
• Shooting experience is a plus, though the initial focus is working with existing footage.
Initial scope
$1,500/month for approximately 20 hours per month. We’re targeting three finished short-form videos monthly, including concept development, editing, one revision round and a brief performance review. The first month will include onboarding and establishing the workflow.
