The jobDine Savvy is an Austin app for nights out. Diners follow the restaurants and bars they like, and those venues' events and tastings show up in their app. Diners can also take Quests: a night out of dinner, something to do and a last drink. Venues post their events from our merchant app to the Dine Savvy feed and, depending on their plan, draft with AI and send to their own social channels.
Our business-development lead and field rep sign venues up. You would make sure they actually post, make Dine Savvy itself worth following, and run the ads that get the app downloaded. Then you'd write down what works, so the next venue, and later the next city, goes faster.
What you'd actually do- Make Dine Savvy's posts, reels and stories, using AI tools or however you work best, and edit them so every line is true and sounds like us. Instagram comes first.
- Run Instagram Collab posts with the venues on each quest.
- Run Dine Savvy's paid social, starting on Meta: campaigns, audiences, budgets and creative. Watch spend and stop what isn't working. Budgets are approved before they run, and the ad spend is ours.
- Tag every post and ad so app downloads and sign-ups can be counted by source. Send a short weekly report: what ran, what it cost, what it brought in, what we change.
- When a venue signs up, get it posting: where its plan includes them, help connect its social channels in our merchant app; show the staff how to draft and send a post, and plan its first few posts with them. Help venues on each quest post it to their followers. Check back so they keep going.
- Tell our product team what trips venues up in the app.
- Turn what works into short how-to guides and templates for venues and for us.
Who this fitsRequired
- You have run social accounts yourself for a brand, venue, app or local business: planned the content, made it, posted it and read the results.
- You make posts and short videos with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Creatify or similar), and you edit what they produce.
- You have run Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad campaigns hands-on: setup, audiences, budget, creative and reporting.
- You have used tracking links (UTM or app-store campaign links) to see which posts and ads brought results.
- You have taught people a tool or a process, such as clients, staff or a team, clearly and patiently.
- You write short, clear copy quickly.
- You are based in the Austin area and can visit venues, including some evenings.
Preferred
- Restaurant, bar, hospitality or nightlife experience.

- TikTok, Meta content or TikTok, Meta ads.
- Onboarding or account management for small businesses.
- Ads in restricted categories such as alcohol.
The honest versionWe are early. The app is live, Quests are live, and venues are signing up now. Our merchant app is new and still changing, so part of the job is telling us where it gets in the way. It's a hands-on role, with no team to manage and no agency behind it. You'd work alongside a founder who cares about evidence, a growth marketer we are also hiring, and our business-development lead and field rep.
Every line we put in front of customers has to be true and traceable, so no invented numbers.
Terms- Independent contractor (1099). You choose your hours, tools and methods; we agree the outcome and deadline for each piece of work. Our AI tools are available to you if you want them.
- Monthly retainer: [UNSET — set before posting].
- A results bonus each quarter on outcomes we measure together, such as tracked app downloads from social and venues posting after you set them up: [UNSET — set before posting].
- Ad spend is Dine Savvy's, proposed line by line and approved before it runs. It never comes out of your pay.
- Hybrid: venue visits in Austin, the rest wherever you work best.
To applyEmail myles@dinesavvy.com with links to two or three accounts or posts you ran yourself, and one paid social campaign: what you spent, what it brought in, and how you knew. Include at least one post you made with AI: name the tool and say what you changed. A résumé or LinkedIn link is welcome; the examples matter more.
Dine Savvy is a technology company. We are not an alcohol producer, wholesaler or retailer. We welcome applicants of every background and consider every application on the work.
