Position Details
- Title: AI-Enabled Lead Designer
- Engagement Model: 1099 Contract (Remote)
- Estimated Scope: Part-time, roughly 10–20 hours per week, including a short daily social-monitoring window. Scope grows as client work grows.
- Compensation: Hourly based on experience and AI fluency
- Primary Point of Contact: Sales & Marketing Practice Lead
Position Overview
Most designers use AI. We are looking for someone who builds with it. As our AI-Enabled Lead Designer, you will own the creative engine behind Level Workforce and the clients we serve. You will turn our tone-of-voice guides, brand standards and campaign strategy into repeatable AI workflows that produce polished social graphics, post copy, and campaign assets fast, without losing quality. AI gives you speed, but your design eye is what makes the work stand out: you know when an output is ready, when it needs a human touch, and when to start over.
This is not a “make me a flyer” job. You will design the system that makes the flyers: prompt libraries, templates, brand kits, and publishing routines that let a small team ship like a big one.
Success in the first 90 days looks like a consistent 2–3 posts per week on each active LinkedIn and social account, and a documented AI design workflow that cuts production time on every campaign.
A Typical Week Might Include
- Turning a new pillar article into a week of LinkedIn posts, carousels and a boosted-post graphic, all on brand.
- Building a reusable AI template set for a client event campaign, using fresh photo and video from the event.
- Spending 15 minutes each morning scanning our leadership and company LinkedIn accounts, then flagging the posts and comments worth engaging with.
- Scheduling and publishing the week's content, then pulling simple performance notes for the sales and marketing lead.
- Refining a prompt library after testing which visuals drive the lowest cost per lead on paid social.
Core Responsibilities
AI Creative Production
- Design at Speed: Produce high-quality social graphics, carousels, ad creative and light video edits using AI design and generation tools, following our brand and voice guides. Bring a critical eye to every AI output, refining it until it looks intentional, not generated.
- Write on Voice: Draft post copy and captions with AI, then edit them so they sound like our leaders and clients, not like a machine.
Creative Systems & Workflows
- Build the Engine: Create and maintain prompt libraries, brand kits, and templates so any campaign can be produced from a proven starting point.
- Innovate and Iterate: Explore new AI tools and techniques, try fresh creative approaches, and refine our workflows based on what performs best.
Publishing & Community Monitoring
- Own the Calendar: Schedule and post content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram on a consistent cadence.
- Watch the Room: Monitor accounts daily to surface comments, mentions and engagement opportunities, and to hide or remove spam and inappropriate comments, so leaders never have to go looking.
Reliability & Communication
- Respond Fast: Honor our 24-hour response standard on every message and request.
- Show Up Prepared: Join a weekly working session with the sales and marketing lead, with progress, blockers and ideas ready.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on graphic design or content design experience.
- Daily, practical use of AI design and writing tools (for example Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT or Claude) to produce finished, client-ready work.
- A strong design eye: a clear sense of composition, typography, color and layout, and the judgment to keep AI-generated work polished and on brand.
- Experience scheduling and managing business social accounts, especially LinkedIn.
- Proven reliability: you meet deadlines and communicate early when something slips.
- A systems mindset: you like building templates and processes as much as finished pieces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for B2B professional services, construction, real estate, or lifestyle and hospitality brands.
- Familiarity with paid social creative testing on Meta and LinkedIn.
- Basic video editing for short-form social clips.
- Experience working inside HubSpot or a similar marketing platform.
What We Offer
- Build Something New: The chance to define how an AI-first creative function works, not just follow someone else's playbook.
- Flexibility: A remote, fractional contract that respects your time and autonomy.
- Growth Trajectory: Hours and compensation can grow as we add clients and campaigns.
- Real Mentorship: Direct collaboration with experienced marketing leaders who are actively building AI-enabled workflows
