Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and schedule content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging. The role includes managing daily posting calendars, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with the online community to build relationships and increase follower interaction. The Social Media Manager will track performance metrics, prepare simple reports, and adjust strategies based on insights and trends. Collaboration with other team members for campaigns, promotions, and content planning is expected, along with staying up to date on platform changes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to grow and manage social channels effectively.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan and organize posts, campaigns, and long-term social media initiatives.
- Candidates should be comfortable using social media management tools and basic analytics platforms.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Experience managing social media for brands, products, or online communities is preferred.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, platform best practices, and basic design principles is beneficial.
- A background in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
