Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is a remote, volunteer role responsible for managing and growing Looproots Foundation’s presence across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include planning and scheduling posts, creating engaging visual and written content, and monitoring audience engagement and messages. The coordinator will help develop and refine social media campaigns that align with the foundation’s mission and initiatives, track basic performance metrics, and suggest improvements based on insights. This role collaborates with other team members to ensure consistent branding, timely promotion of events or campaigns, and clear communication of key messages to online communities.
Qualifications
- Ability to create engaging Social Media Content Creation and Writing tailored to different platforms.
- Foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaign planning and audience growth.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with online communities and coordinating with internal teams.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) and basic analytics tools.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage a content calendar and meet agreed timelines in a remote setting.
- Interest in social impact, nonprofit work, or community-focused initiatives; prior volunteer or outreach experience is beneficial.
- Comfort with using collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, project management or scheduling tools) and willingness to learn new digital tools as needed.
- Video editing if needed.
