Content Creator: AMANDA UPRICHARD, a NYC based female owned contemporary fashion brand is looking for a freelance experienced Content Creator to create exceptional content for our social media channels. We are based in the heart of the Garment Center in NYC. Amanda Uprichard is sold on our website, as well as the best contemporary websites such as Shopbop, and Revolve, and department and specialty stores nationwide. A keen visual eye and a flair for fashion is required.
This role is hybrid and will require some office visits.

OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create content for Amanda Uprichard’s organic and paid social media platforms. The ideal candidate will live and breathe social media and be highly aware of all trends. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Creative Directors to create content that drives the brand's presence and engagement across all social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand’s DNA and marketing goals. We are looking for highly creative visual people who love making fashion content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and execute monthly content that supports strategic focus areas, driving brand awareness and reinforcing Amanda Uprichard’s brand DNA.
● Innovate social media and content strategies, lead content and campaign ideation, and ensure Amanda Uprichard’s social channels are best-in-class.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
● Proven ability to develop and execute strategic social media content that drives brand awareness and engagement.
● Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, with a keen eye for content innovation and trends.
● A genuine passion for Amanda Uprichard, women’s fashion, creativity, and staying ahead of industry trends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field such as fine art or design.
Proven experience (1-2 years) in social media and influencer marketing roles, preferably within the fashion industry.
Strong ability to use film cameras and iphone for content creation.
Strong understanding of the fashion market, social media trends, and influencer marketing dynamics.
