Urgently Hiring for a Part-Time Creative Marketing & Social Media Content Creator

Are you a creative person who loves weddings, flowers, beautiful details, and sentimental stories?
Pressed Rose Studio is looking for a part-time contractor to help with social media content and other marketing projects as needed. This would be a great fit for a creative college student studying marketing, communications, design, photography—or simply someone with a natural eye for beautiful content. This is a flexible independent contractor position and you can create content remotely from anywhere in California!
This role is about more than posting on social media. Our work is about preserving memories, love stories, handmade artistry, and heirlooms that mean something to people. I'm looking for someone who understands that and can help communicate positive emotion through photos, video, words, and creative ideas.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love weddings, flowers, romance, and sentimental details
- Have a strong aesthetic eye and enjoy creating beautiful content
- Are comfortable with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and/or video editing
- Enjoy storytelling and coming up with fresh ideas
- Are dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Want hands-on experience with a growing creative small business
The work may include:
- Creating Reels, Stories, posts, and other social content
- Photography/video and behind-the-scenes content
- Writing captions and brainstorming campaigns
- Researching trends and bringing new ideas
- Helping with email, website, promotions, and other marketing projects as needed
Hours: Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start, with opportunity for additional hours as projects and business needs arise
Job Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: $18-$22/hour, depending on experience
You don't need years of experience or a formal marketing background. I'm looking for someone creative who truly understands the beauty, sentiment, and heart behind what Pressed Rose Studio is all about.
