As part of this U.S. expansion, Dear U is preparing to launch a flagship retail and fan experience destination in the heart of New York City. This new location will bring the Bubble experience to life through exclusive merchandise, immersive brand experiences, and special artist-related events, creating a unique space where fans can connect more closely with the artists they love.

Position Overview
The Copywriter will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and refining Korean-language content across digital platforms, marketing campaigns, social media, promotional materials, and other brand communications.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual in Korean and English with strong creative writing and editing skills, a deep understanding of Korean culture and current trends, and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
This role will collaborate closely with our Marketing team, U.S. team, and Korea Headquarters to ensure that content is engaging, natural, culturally appropriate, and aligned with Dear U's brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling English copy for E-commerce platforms, digital marketing campaigns, promotional materials, websites, in-app content, and other brand communications.
- Review and edit Korean to English content to ensure accuracy, readability, consistency, and natural expression.
- Adapt and localize Korean-language marketing concepts into culturally relevant English copy for U.S. and global audiences, rather than relying on direct translation.
- Create and develop English-language messaging related to artists, K-pop content, merchandise, fan experiences, events, and platform promotions.
- Develop and maintain product descriptions for products featured on the e-commerce website, ensuring product information is accurate, clear, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create and edit e-commerce content including descriptions, promotional copy, collection/category copy, and other on-site messaging.
- Maintain a consistent brand tone and voice across different communication channels.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Product, and other internal teams in both the U.S. and Korea.
- Work closely with Korea Headquarters to understand campaign objectives, artist/IP guidelines, and brand requirements.
- Stay current on social media trends, K-pop culture, and fan community communication styles.
Qualifications
- Native level in Korean and English with exceptional writing, grammar, and editing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content creation, advertising, marketing, localization, or a related field.
- Excellent understanding of cultural nuance and the ability to adjust tone and messaging for different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
