We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead competitive experience analysis and help identify new opportunities across complex digital consumer products.
This role will examine how leading and emerging companies solve important customer problems, identify shifts in customer expectations, and turn those insights into clear product and experience recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Lead competitive and comparative analysis across digital products and end-to-end customer journeys.
- Evaluate interaction patterns, value propositions, content, visual design, personalization, AI experiences, onboarding, conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Identify competitive patterns, changing customer expectations, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Translate research into strategic opportunities, experience principles, hypotheses, and actionable recommendations.
- Connect experience insights with customer, market, product, and business data.
- Create visual frameworks and compelling narratives that make complex findings clear and actionable.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Partner across Product, Design, Strategy, Marketing, Research, Analytics, and Engineering to move insights into action.
- Establish repeatable frameworks and best practices for competitive experience analysis.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design, Experience Design, Design Strategy, Service Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with competitive analysis, comparative experience analysis, or design strategy for digital products.
- Experience influencing product or experience direction across multiple teams or product areas.
- Strong systems thinking, synthesis, problem framing, and journey analysis skills.
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product and business recommendations.
- Strong visual storytelling and experience presenting complex ideas to senior leadership.
- Experience working across Product, Design, Strategy, Research, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect customer experience with business and market opportunities.
- Expertise with Figma and modern design and presentation tools.
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic product design thinking, storytelling, cross-functional influence, and identification of meaningful customer or business opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
