ATTN: CREATIVES
We're looking for a fulltime, highly organized, creative, and proactive Content Producer & Social Editor to help produce and execute daily content across Jennifer Fisher’s social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who lives on social media, understands trends and unique ways of storytelling while also tracking content performance, and operational execution. You'll work closely with Jennifer and the Maedyn team to capture moments, edit engaging content, manage content organization and execute content publishing, while also helping to identify opportunities to grow our audience. This is not a passive editing role—we’re looking for someone who thinks creatively, brings ideas to the table, and helps elevate the platform!
Responsibilities
Daily Content Production
• Film day-to-day lifestyle, fashion, food, travel, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Capture high-quality iPhone video and photography.
• Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Assist in creating longer-form edits for YouTube when needed.
• Select music, captions, graphics, and pacing that maximize engagement.
• Optimize content for each platform rather than reposting identical edits.
Social Media Execution
• Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.
• Assist with caption copy consistent with Jennifer's voice.
• Assist with Stories throughout the day.
• Ensure all content follows brand standards.
• Maintain the content publishing calendar.
• Monitor platform analytics, performance metrics, and emerging trends to continuously improve content performance.
Work proactively with the Maedyn and Jennifer Fisher teams to plan content around upcoming launches, partnerships, travel, events, and key business initiatives, ensuring content opportunities are identified well in advance.
Creative Support
• Brainstorm new content ideas weekly.
• Stay current on platform trends and what works within our brand ethos.
• Identify opportunities to create recurring content series.
• Recommend hooks, titles, thumbnails, and storytelling improvements.
• Help translate everyday moments into engaging content.
Continuously bring fresh creative ideas that support audience growth while maintaining the Maedyn and Jennifer Fisher brand aesthetic
Content Organization
• Organize all footage in Dropbox, Google Drive, or other asset management systems.
• Maintain a searchable content library for future use.
• Tag footage by category (recipes, fashion, travel, wellness, jewelry, etc.).
• Archive finished assets.
Production Assistance
• Assist during recipe shoots.
• Help style shots when needed.
• Prepare filming locations.
• When shooting with cameras, you will need to manage batteries, memory cards, microphones, lighting, and filming equipment.
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage during campaigns, events, travel, and partnerships.
Coordinate closely with Jennifer Fisher's team on her calendar and schedule to identify content opportunities, ensure coverage of key meetings, events, partnerships, travel, and shoots, and proactively plan content capture around her day.
Brand Partnerships
• Edit sponsored content according to brand guidelines.
• Ensure all deliverables meet client deadlines.
• Organize revisions and approvals.
• Package and deliver final assets.
• Maintain consistency across organic and sponsored content while preserving Jennifer's authentic voice.
Coordinate / work closely with Jennifer Fisher's team on all details across brand deliverables, important tagging and collaboration requirements and that content is delivered and posted on time.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
• 2–5 years creating content for social media.
• Excellent video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Excellent storytelling instincts and editing pace.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to anticipate needs without constant direction.
