About The Role
The Social Media Manager owns organic social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, translating product positioning and industry insights into content that builds awareness, engagement, and qualified demand for a technology business.
The role combines editorial judgment, platform expertise, and performance analysis. It partners with product marketing, content, design, and demand generation to manage the publishing calendar, develop campaigns, engage online communities, and turn social performance into actionable growth insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an organic social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube aligned to brand, product, and demand-generation goals
- Own the social content calendar from concept through publication, coordinating copy, creative briefs, video, approvals, and cross-functional launches
- Write and edit platform-specific posts, executive content, customer stories, product announcements, and real-time commentary in a consistent brand voice
- Manage social publishing and listening workflows using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platform capabilities
- Measure channel performance through platform analytics, GA4, UTM tracking, and dashboards; report on reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, and audience growth
- Run creative and messaging tests across formats, hooks, publishing times, and calls to action, then apply findings to improve content performance
- Monitor conversations, trends, and brand mentions; respond to community activity and escalate reputational or customer issues through the appropriate teams
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience managing social media for a technology, SaaS, consumer technology, or digitally focused brand
- Demonstrated success building and executing organic social programs across LinkedIn and at least two additional major platforms
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with social publishing, listening, and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Brandwatch, native platform analytics, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of GA4, UTM governance, conversion tracking, and performance reporting; comfortable connecting social activity to traffic and pipeline metrics
- Strong project-management skills, including managing editorial calendars, creative reviews, agency or freelancer relationships, and multiple concurrent launches
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Experience with executive social programs, paid social amplification, short-form video production, social listening platforms, SEO, or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo
