At Social View Agency, our Social Media Marketing Managers are the leaders behind every client account. Rather than managing social media on your own, you'll oversee a team of student marketers, mentor emerging creatives, and ensure every client receives an exceptional experience. You'll serve as the client's primary point of contact, review and refine your team's work, and lead content creation from strategy through execution.
With 60+ college partners across the nation, Social View Agency (SVA) runs a Creative Internship Program that pairs local businesses with talented student marketers. Our Supervisors bridge the gap between students and clients—providing mentorship, maintaining quality, and helping students gain real-world agency experience while delivering professional results.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager to lead one of our Pilates client accounts across three studio locations in New Jersey.
**You MUST have flexible availability and a loose schedule in order to succeed in this role.
This is not a traditional social media manager role. You'll operate like a mini agency owner—leading your own student team, managing the client relationship, and ensuring every deliverable meets Social View Agency's standards.
A major part of the role is visiting each studio weekly to capture fresh content for your student team to edit and turn into social media posts. You'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while taking ownership of the account's success.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of student marketers assigned to the account
- Review, edit, and provide feedback on student work before it's delivered to the client
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, leading meetings and communication
- Ensure the client has a seamless, professional experience from onboarding through ongoing management
- Visit each studio once per week to capture social media content
- Film short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and Reels (iPhone content is encouraged)
- Direct content shoots using shot lists while identifying additional creative opportunities
- Collaborate with Social View Agency leadership on strategy and campaign execution
- Keep projects organized and ensure deadlines are consistently met

You'll visit each studio once per week:
- Englewood, NJ
- Northvale, NJ
- Fort Lee, NJ
Qualifications
- Comfortable leading others and mentoring a team
- Excellent communicator who enjoys building client relationships
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Reliable and comfortable managing your own schedule
- Able to commute to all three studio locations weekly
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
- Comfortable filming with an iPhone (professional camera experience is a plus)
- Owns or has access to basic equipment such as a tripod and wireless microphone
- Interest in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands is a plus
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Flexible (you'll coordinate filming sessions directly with the client and manage your team on your own schedule)
- Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $1,000 per month + Commissions
