The Role
We are hiring a New York-based Video Content Creator & Editor with strong photography skills to own Nea’s recurring social content through an ongoing monthly retainer.
You will work with our Head of Consumer Brand & Social Media, bringing ideas as well as strong execution.
What You Will Do
- Shoot and edit elevated short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and partner channels.
- Capture and edit high-quality photography of people, food, restaurants, and events.
- Create repeatable formats featuring Nea users, restaurants, creators, and community members.
- Cover at least two Nea events per week.
- Bring concepts, hooks, interview ideas, shot lists, and a strong point of view.
- Own delivery across selects, pacing, sound, captions, basic color, and platform-ready exports.
- Collaborate with the Visual & Graphic Designer and keep video and photography assets organized.
Who You Are
- Strong video and photography skills, demonstrated through work you personally shot and edited.
- Fluency in contemporary Instagram and TikTok formats, pacing, hooks, captions, and audience behavior.
- Confidence filming and photographing people, food, restaurants, events, and movement.
- Able to work independently with a professional lightweight video and photography kit.
- Organized and available for at least two events per week, including occasional evenings or weekends.
