Job Summary
Our leading Utilities client is looking for a candidate to execute UX and product design, create wireframes, storyboards as well as high fidelity designs, and adhere to internal brand and UI standards. The UX/UI designer will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance the user experience and should be able to grasp user needs and solve problems. They will be involved in everything from early brainstorming through to execution and refinement.
Key Details: - Duration: 8 month contract
- Location: Minneapolis, MN
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities - Develop story boards, user flows, prototypes and wireframes to specify proposed experiences; includes design object expertise & rationale, as well as interaction details to facilitate interpretation of your designs
- Create and optimize new and existing user interface and visual designs
- Maintain and evolve all design guidelines for design properties
- Present proposed experiences to a range of partners, product managers, business analysts, delivery managers, developers, and Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams
- Quickly acquire a detailed understanding of project scope & business requirements, as well as technology constraint and incorporate as you create proposed experiences
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) - 3+ years designing digital products in a product or agency setting
- Figma — advanced (components, variants, auto-layout, dev-ready specs)
- End-to-end UX/UI design for web and mobile (flows, wireframes, hi-fi UI)
- Working within an established design system
- Accessibility fundamentals / WCAG awareness
- Managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience embedded with agile product teams
- Portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and UI craft

Compensation & Benefits - Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $76.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
