FAMILY INDUSTRIES
CONTENT MARKETER
We're Family Industries, the world's first experiential merch agency. We customize products and merch on-site at over 500 events a year for brands like Apple, Nike, Disney, & Google, at various brand activations, conventions, conferences, and pop-ups. Our on-site merch customization experiences transform event attendees into artists, creators and product designers.
THE ROLE
You'll create the look and feel of this brand on socials. Not maintain it, but create it: the grid, the formats, the editing style, the recurring series, how the feed feels month to month. You'll lead our content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, you will own the strategy, own the calendar, own the creative direction, and what we actually publish.
You'll have access to real support to help you execute it: an event team already capturing photo and video on site, an established brand book, a working style guide to build from or build past, budget for contract editors, and performance data from our own event software to inform what you make. The brand foundation is set. You just need someone to put it all together and make it work. The expression is yours.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our audience is brand managers and agency leads who research before they reach out, and potential customers for our print division, so the content you make is often our first impression. Here's what the week looks like:
- A content calendar planned a month out and visible to everyone. Maintaining various social pillars to help highlight brand wins.
- Every major event becomes a full drop: Instagram recap, LinkedIn data story, case study for our website and sales team and a YouTube cut. One shoot, many edits.
- Shot lists to our event teams before load-in, so the footage matches your plan without you living in airports.
- Contract editors, hired and managed by you.
- POV posts
- A monthly read on what worked, and the judgment to change what didn't.
- A monthly newsletter that reinforces that we are not only the experts but the go to leaders in the industry.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You've grown a brand account before and can show us your work.
You live online. You know why some content spreads and some disappears, and you're always studying the difference. You know the right trends to follow and the ones to avoid.
You can watch raw event footage and immediately see the post.
You remain on schedule. Our events run on hard deadlines and the content calendar keeps the same time. Inspiration is welcome
Bonus points if you know this industry, agency-side, brand-side, or events, because you'll be talking to the people who book activations.
