Position Overview
Hawkins Siding and Exteriors is seeking a reliable, organized, and creative Marketing & Outreach Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of our local marketing efforts.
This is an entry-level, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of creative marketing, administrative organization, customer communication, and community outreach. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, follows instructions well, and takes pride in completing work accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Direct Mail & Database Management
- Build and maintain prospect, customer, and neighborhood marketing lists.
- Create, print, prepare, and mail letters, postcards, and other marketing materials.
- Update and organize customer information in the company CRM.
- Track completed mailings and outreach activities.
Social Media & Content
- Maintain the company's social media accounts and content calendar.
- Schedule and publish approved content across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Visit local job sites and events to capture project photos and videos.
- Organize, label, upload, and post photos to social media, the company website, and Google Business Profile.
- Assist with basic graphic design using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Assist with occasional video editing and content creation.
Customer Follow-Up
- Contact prospective customers by phone, email, and text message.
- Follow up with older leads, open estimates, and unconverted opportunities.
- Use approved scripts and accurately document all communication in the CRM.
- Route interested prospects to the appropriate team member.
Events & Marketing Support
- Research local trade shows, community events, sponsorship opportunities, and other marketing events.
- Assist with event registration, scheduling, setup, supplies, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate the design, pricing, ordering, and organization of company apparel, signage, promotional items, and printed materials.
- Communicate with vendors and outside marketing partners as needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established processes.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and text.
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and file management.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience, coursework, internships, or freelance work in marketing, communications, administration, customer service, or event planning.
- Experience scheduling social media content or managing Google Business Profile.
- Photography or basic video editing experience.
- Familiarity with CRM software or email marketing platforms.

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications.
