This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative videographer to shape and produce a recurring short-form content series spotlighting restaurants and bars in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. You will collaborate closely to develop the visual style and narrative approach, capturing authentic experiences at local venues. The project is ideal for someone passionate about food, nightlife, and storytelling, who is eager to contribute ideas and help define the look and feel of the series from the ground up. Shoots are scheduled on weekends, with a flexible, ongoing arrangement based on project success.
Deliverables
- Film one restaurant and one bar per session, typically on weekends, with each shoot lasting 2–3 hours.
- Edit footage into two engaging vertical videos per shoot, optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
- Deliver final edits within one week of each shoot.
- Collaborate on creative direction, including shot selection, story structure, and visual style.
- Ensure all content meets platform specifications and maintains high production quality.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions to refine the series and adapt to audience response.
Requirements
- Based in the Phoenix-Scottsdale metro area with reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated experience filming and editing short-form video content, preferably for social media platforms.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of vertical video formats and social media trends, especially for Instagram and TikTok.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver projects on schedule.
