ASSISTANT SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Pest Daily
Scottsdale, Arizona
If your screen-time report makes you proud, keep reading.
Do your friends send you social media trends before they send you texts? Do you immediately notice when a brand’s content feels outdated? Have you ever watched a video and thought, “I could make that better”?
Pest Daily is looking for an energetic, creative, and highly motivated Assistant Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who genuinely loves social media and wants to turn that passion into a career. The ideal candidate may be graduating with a degree in marketing, communications, social media, digital media, or a related field. We are also interested in self-taught content creators who have spent years learning how social media works simply because they love it.
You do not need ten years of experience.
You do need creativity, energy, curiosity, organization, and a strong desire to learn.
ABOUT PEST DAILY
Pest Daily is a national education, coaching, consulting, events, and media company serving the pest control and home service industries.
We help business owners build stronger companies through coaching, consulting, online education, live events, podcasts, video production, social media, and business resources.
Our headquarters is located in Tampa, Florida, and our Scottsdale office supports our growing West Coast presence. This position will work from our Scottsdale office while reporting to and collaborating with our Tampa-based leadership and production teams.
THE POSITION
The Assistant Social Media Manager will help lead social media production for our Scottsdale-based consulting team while supporting a variety of company-wide content and marketing initiatives.
This is not a position where you will spend every day sitting behind a desk scheduling basic posts.
You will help capture, create, edit, organize, publish, and improve content across multiple social media platforms. You will work alongside consultants, business leaders, creators, and members of our production team to turn ideas, conversations, events, and everyday moments into engaging content.
Your days may include filming a consultant, editing short-form videos, helping produce a podcast, brainstorming a campaign, writing captions, reviewing analytics, organizing a content calendar, or identifying a trend that Pest Daily should use.
No two days will be exactly the same, and that is how we like it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help create and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Film and produce short-form and long-form content with members of the Scottsdale consulting team.
• Edit reels, shorts, social videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Help lead the daily production process for consultants based in the Scottsdale office.
• Develop creative content ideas that support Pest Daily’s brand, consultants, programs, events, and educational resources.
• Write captions and social media copy that are clear, engaging, fun, and aligned with the Pest Daily voice.
• Organize and maintain social media calendars, production schedules, content files, and project deadlines.
• Schedule and publish approved content across company and consultant social media accounts.
• Monitor comments, messages, engagement, trends, and audience feedback.
• Review performance analytics and help identify which content is working and where improvements can be made.
• Assist with podcasts, interviews, office content, client stories, live events, and special marketing projects.
• Help build and support the personal brands of Pest Daily consultants and company leaders.
• Collaborate with the Scottsdale team while communicating consistently with the production and leadership teams in Tampa.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, editing styles, creator strategies, and new content formats.
• Bring new ideas to the team and be willing to experiment with creative approaches.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You may be a great fit if:

• You are creative and enjoy turning basic ideas into interesting content.
• You are comfortable filming content and working with people on camera.
• You enjoy editing videos and learning new production techniques.
• You are organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• You take initiative and do not need to be told every small step.
• You are positive, dependable, curious, and eager to learn.
• You are comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions.
• You are willing to test new ideas, even when every idea may not work.
• You can work independently while still being an active member of a larger team.
• You communicate clearly with people working in different offices and time zones.
