Role Description We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Growth Specialist to help grow JOVA’s social presence across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
This person will support day-to-day social execution, content planning, and social media growth. The ideal candidate understands how to create content that feels natural, engaging, and relevant to English-speaking parents and families, especially in the U.S. market. They should be comfortable managing social calendars, publishing content, tracking performance, monitoring trends, reviewing competitors, and turning insights into clear actions.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, data-driven, platform-native, and excited to help build JOVA’s social channels from an early stage while supporting brand communication and campaign priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Social Content Calendar and Day-to-Day Posting
Own the day-to-day social content calendar across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms. Plan weekly posting schedules, coordinate content assets, prepare captions and hashtags, manage publishing, and ensure social channels stay active, consistent, and aligned with brand priorities. Work closely with the Social Media Content Manager, Brand team, Product team, and other internal stakeholders to connect social media activity with broader marketing plans.
Support Platform Strategies and Content Direction
Help develop platform-specific approaches for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social channels. Support decisions around what each platform should be used for, what content formats should be prioritized, how content should be adapted by platform, and how each channel can contribute to audience growth, brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Create and Execute Short-Form Content Hands-On
Create social content directly when needed, including filming products, editing videos, writing hooks, drafting captions, adapting trends, creating product demos, and producing fast-turnaround content for tests, trends, launches, and seasonal opportunities.
Monitor Trends, Algorithm Shifts, and Competitors
Monitor social media trends, platform algorithm shifts, competitor accounts, creator formats, viral content patterns, and category conversations to stay ahead of what is working. Identify useful trends and content opportunities that can be adapted for JOVA in a way that feels natural, brand-relevant, and culturally appropriate.
Build Channels from an Early Stage
Help grow JOVA’s social channels from a low base by testing different content formats, hooks, products, messages, posting times, platform approaches, and creator styles. Focus on finding what makes people stop, watch, engage, follow, and remember the brand.
Provide Weekly and Monthly Performance Insights
Track social media performance regularly and provide weekly and monthly reports with clear insights, actionable recommendations, and implementation plans. Turn performance learnings into concrete actions for the next content cycle.
Support Paid Social Growth
Support paid social campaigns across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube when needed. Help select organic content with strong potential, turn winning posts into ad creatives, support creative testing, monitor performance, and suggest improvements based on results.
Work with Creators and Internal Teams
Brief and coordinate with creators, influencers, designers, product teams, brand teams, sales teams, and operations teams to produce timely and relevant content.
Manage Community and Social Listening
Own day-to-day community management across social platforms, including responding to comments, engaging with followers, monitoring audience feedback, and identifying useful insights from comments, questions, reviews, and sentiment.
Required Experience
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience growing social media accounts, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts,.
• Proven experience creating, managing, or growing social content from a low base.
• Strong understanding of short-form video culture, especially for the U.S. market.
• Strong English is required.
• Experience in consumer brands - family/kids products, toys, parenting, or FMCG is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, opening frames, storytelling, trends, captions, and platform-native editing.
• Comfortable using CapCut, Premiere, or similar editing tools.
• Comfortable using AI tools for content ideation, hook generation, script drafting, editing support, trend research, competitor monitoring, or reporting.
• Data-driven mindset with a clear test-and-learn approach.
Nice to Have
• Experience with TikTok Shop, creator commerce, or social commerce.
• Experience supporting paid social campaigns on TikTok or Meta
