Freelance Social Media Manager (Potential Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunity)

Belen is a creative social media agency working with brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, retail, hospitality, professional services, and more. We're looking for a creative, organized, and proactive social media manager who is excited to work across multiple industries and grow with our team.
This is a freelance position with the potential to transition into a part-time or full-time role if it's the right fit for both of us.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client social media accounts (number of accounts will be disclosed during the interview process)
- Plan and maintain content calendars
- Edit short-form content in CapCut
- Design graphics and marketing materials in Canva
- Assist with branding, creative direction, and content strategy
- Use AI platforms such as Notion, Claude, ChatGPT, Runway, and other tools to improve workflows and content creation
- Stay organized using systems and project management tools
- Communicate professionally with clients and the internal team
- Film content on-site in the NYC area approximately 1–2 times per month
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional social media management experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative work across different industries
- Excellent eye for branding, design, and aesthetics
- Experience using content calendars and organized workflow systems
- Proficient in CapCut, Canva, and AI platforms
- Comfortable analyzing social media performance and reporting on results
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Available to start immediately
