The Role
- Create and revise user manuals, quick reference guides, and other product documentation for servers, motherboards, and chassis.
- Utilize graphic tools such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to develop and modify technical illustrations and product images.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other writers to gather necessary technical data and schematics.
- Maintain accurate revision history records for all documentation to ensure they are kept up-to-date.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly status reports on documentation progress.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or Technical Communications.
- Proficiency in desktop publishing tools including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and MadCap Flare.
- A minimum of two years of experience in technical writing and creating technical illustrations, preferably within computer hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
