About Kin
Healthcare is still a black box for most Americans. Kin turns any medical visit into momentum and becomes the default patient AI layer that works in any exam room today: patient-controlled, privacy-forward, and designed to make care feel less confusing and more doable in the moments that count.
We are a physician-led team of repeat entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, supported by world-class capital and strategic partners (including the former co-CEOs of GoodRx). We're hiring a Social Content Creator to create content for our owned channels.
Why this role matters
We are defining a new category with Kin and Social will play a key role in our customer acquisition efforts. This role will be crucial in delivering the brand’s core messaging to target audiences through content creation, community engagement, and external creator partnerships.
You'll be the first dedicated Social Content Creator at Kin. This is both a hands-on role and one that has the potential to shape our overall messaging and content production strategy.
You will report directly to our Growth Lead, Vivian Wang, and partner closely with the founding team.
What you will be building at Kin
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging social platforms
- Own and manage the day-to-day social content calendar, balancing planned campaigns with reactive cultural moments
- Monitor performance metrics, audience feedback, and platform trends to refine creative direction and optimize content performance
- Attend company-hosted events and visit partner physician offices to film original content
- Engage with high intent communities such as caregiver groups, and condition-focused specialty groups on Facebook and Reddit
- Be a key contributor to shaping our influencer marketing strategy
What we're looking for
- Someone who understands how to produce short-form content that stops a scroll and sparks conversation
- Prior UGC experience for consumer brands, bonus points if it’s in the health space
- Comfortable being in front of the camera
- Comfortable directing content featuring the founders, other members of the founding team, and physician partners or customers
- Is able to turn winning content formats into repeatable playbooks for content production
- Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts
- Experience with editing tools such as CapCut and Canva
- Nice to have
- Ability to work in fast-paced, startup environments
- Has grown social media profiles from the ground up
- Experience building communities
Please include links to social media profiles you’ve managed in the past and/or a portfolio along with your resume.
How we work
1. Patient-First Obsession
The North Star. When in doubt, ask whose interests this serves. We build for the person at the end of the care chain, not for the roadmap, not for the demo, not for the investor. When patient outcomes and internal convenience conflict, patient outcomes win. Every time.
2. No Silos, No Heroes
Empowerment over Dependency. We operate with radical transparency and assume positive intent, empowering each other to take ownership and challenge ideas rather than people.
3. Magic in Simplicity
Earn Complexity. Simple until it has to be otherwise. We ship to learn, cut scope to move, and resist the urge to architect for problems we don't have yet. Complexity is a cost. We only pay it when the return is clear.
4. Sustainable Intensity
Energy over Hours. Energy is the asset, not hours. We bring full force when it matters and protect recovery because burnout doesn't serve patients. Intensity is a tool we choose.
